NY1’s "Finding Home" segment features animals up for adoption around the five boroughs.

This week, we'd like to introduce This week, we’d like to introduce 6-year-old Bertha.

She was found as a stray in Queens, but that has not stopped her from being affectionate and easy-going. Bertha loves lazy walks and lots of naps.

For cat lovers, there is Sophie. She is a calm but curious 6-year-old who enjoys chin scratches and gentle pets.

Sophie loves exploring her surrondings and purring every time she gets attention.
