A New York-based coffee company plans to open its first location in New Jersey with the recent purchase of a property in Monmouth County.

Unique Coffee Roasters , based in Staten Island, has purchased a 9,712-square-foot building at 719-721 Route 35 in Middletown.

The property features ground-level access and large windows that “fill the interior with natural light,” the company says.

The $1.6 million deal was brokered by Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Corporate Sales Representative Joshua Glussky, while Legacy Commercial Realty served as the listing agent.

“From the steady flow of motorists along Route 35 to its hard-to-miss highway frontage, this is an exceptional location,” said Glussky. “I can’t imagine a property checking off more boxes.”
