Captain Lukas Fischer wants to see more from the Sarnia Sting, especially on home ice.

They failed to protect three one-goal leads in Friday’s 5-4 shootout loss to the Brampton Steelheads in front of 3,711 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

The Sting have only three wins in 10 home games going into Sunday’s tilt against the visiting North Bay Battalion.

“We’ve got a lot of wonderful people that come to this building every night,” Fischer said. “I feel recently that we’ve played some good games at home, but we haven’t been giving them what they deserve.

“I think Sunday’s a good opportunity to get that home-ice advantage under wraps and then get a bit of momentum going into the eastern trip next weekend.”
