PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Cornelius man is accused of leading police on a chase around Clackamas County after refusing to pull over during a traffic stop prior to being arrested Friday, authorities said.

Gerardo Calixtro-Tellez, 35, is accused of reckless driving and other charges. He allegedly failed to stop for law enforcement in a Wilsonville parking lot at 8255 SW Wilsonville Rd, then headed northbound on I-5, where Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies followed him.

"Minutes later, a responding unit successfully deployed spike strips on the truck near SW Nyberg St. in Tualatin.
