Lorraine Kelly is among the celebrities supporting Davina McCall after the former Big Brother host revealed her breast cancer diagnosis.

In her original video, shared on Instagram this weekend, Davina explained that it was thanks to a Lorraine campaign that she even knew there was something wrong.

Davina, 58, underwent surgery in October after finding a lump, which she knew to check for after seeing an infographic on the ITV daytime show’s page for their Change+Check campaign.

Fortunately, the broadcasting icon’s lumpectomy was successful due to the cancer being detected ‘very, very early’.

She is now recovering ahead of ‘five days of radiotherapy in January’, which she described as ‘an insurance policy’ ahead of her journey to ‘try and stop it ever coming back’.
