Of all the ways in which artificial intelligence has been improving our lives — from more organized shopping to faster delivery of household products purchased over the internet — few will have as much impact as rapid advancements now underway in the health-care industry.

That was the theme of an all-day health care symposium held Friday on the University of Toledo’s health science campus.

About 100 people were inside UT’s Collier Auditorium for the event, another one at a satellite location affiliated with the main Great Lakes AI Conference on the Bowling Green State University campus.

The main event, attended by hundreds of CEOs and tech specialists, was at BGSU on Wednesday and Thursday.

UT also held a pair of affiliated AI workshops inside of its college of engineering on Tuesday,
