The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board is set to hear a zoning request and vote on whether to recommend the city council rezone the area of 623 S. Mesa Drive to create a series of townhomes at their upcoming meeting.

The meeting begins with a 3 p.m. study session at 20 E. Main St on Nov. 12.

The board will discuss whether to rezone an area from multiple residence 2 (RM-2) to multiple residence-4 with a bonus intensity zone overlay (RM-4-BIZ) to make a site plan review for a 15-unit multiple townhome development. The application was made by Tim Boyle of Atmosphere Architects on behalf of site owner 623 S Mesa LLC.
