A measure reducing the front setback required for 225 corner lots from 20 feet to 4 feet at the Venture Out recreational vehicle subdivision was approved by the Mesa Board of Adjustment.

The board voted 5-0 Nov. 5 to approve a minor modification to an existing planned-area development overlay to reduce the front setback at Venture Out at the northwest corner of East Broadway Road and South Higley Road. Board members Gerson Barrera and Troy Glover were absent.

A total of 25 of 250 owners of corner lots did not provide authorization or opted not to be included within the proposed request.

The recreational vehicle subdivision has 1,750 units, Venture Out Architectural Compliance Director Amber Kolek told the board.
