Following the success of the inaugural Sleap Walk in 2024, anticipation is high ahead of the second edition this month.
More than 100 people donned their pyjamas and strolled around Newcastle’s East End to raise funds for Sleapy’s Foundation’s pet project, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Courtyard at the John Hunter Hospital.
The vital space is being designed to provide comfort and respite for critically-ill children and their families when they need it most.
Now, all the attention will turn to the charity’s latest fundraiser, which takes place from The Station on Saturday 15 November.
Participants, who must wear their favourite PJs, jammies, jim-jams or best “sleepwear”, can register from 4pm.
