Greece Turkey conflict : In a major blow to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s plan to establish Ankara’s hegemony in its neighbourhood, Greece, which has cordial diplomatic ties with India, is mulling to acquire Rafale F4 fighter jets from France, amid Turkey’s growing aggression in the Aegean Sea.
According to reports, Greece, which already operates a fleet of Rafale fighter jets, has expressed interest in purchasing the upgraded Rafale F4 variant from French aerospace giant Dassault Aviation, in a bid to prevent Turkey from gaining air superiority in the Aegean.
