It took two late interceptions, but the Union College football team held on to defeat Rochester 14-10 Saturday at Fauver Stadium, and — with some help — now finds itself in the driver’s seat entering Dutchman Shoes week.
Union improved to 6-0 in the Liberty League (7-2 overall). Meanwhile, Ithaca scored 14 fourth-quarter points and thwarted a late two-point conversion attempt to edge RPI — previously unbeaten in the league — 24-23. Both those teams are now 5-1 in the league.
