The Detroit Lions made several moves at the 4 p.m. deadline before their game Sunday, Nov. 9, against the Washington Commanders , including elevating an offensive lineman from the practice squad.

After offensive guard Christian Mahogany broke a bone in his leg in the Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings , the Lions elevated offensive lineman Michael Niese from the practice squad to the active roster.
