LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - On Saturday, dozens of people took to the streets of NuLu to show their support for veterans with the annual Veterans Day Parade.
The parade celebrates veterans and features military vehicles that served as early as WWII.
Dozens of veterans were in attendance, including Kevin Crump, a retired Army Master Sargant, serving two tours in Iraq.
“Just the honor, just to support fellow veterans, the camaraderie, you know, as veterans we miss that, we miss the camaraderie, so to be out here and see the participation, it warms my heart,” Crump said. “Spending time with the guys, you can’t even walk two feet and seeing a veteran and shake hands, find out where each other’s been, I actually met a veteran who was serving in Iraq same time I was in, same area, so that was gr
