MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — The Muskegon Township Fire Department (MTFD) said 11 people were hurt in a crash involving three vehicles near Muskegon on Saturday afternoon.
Officials said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hall Road and Brooks Road.
According to MTFD, a vehicle ran a stop sign, causing a crash between three vehicles.
There were 11 people hurt in the crash, 10 of whom went to the hospital with injuries varying in levels of severity from minor to moderate. Officials said of those who went to the hospital, three were children between the ages of 4 and 8, four were teenagers and three were adults.
MTFD said the road was closed for around 30 minutes while crews cleared the scene.
