GRETNA, Fla. (WCTV) - A 21-year-old man has been arrested by the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a 2024 shooting in Gretna.

Terrel Da’Shon Francis was arrested in Quincy, according to officials and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. The shooting reportedly happened on Nov. 18, 2024, at Beech Avenue Park in Gretna.

The sheriff’s office said they developed probable cause for an arrest warrant for Francis, and claims he “did unlawfully attempt to kill Elijah Jackson, by shooting with a firearm.”
