N ew flooring, new paint on the walls, new pictures — it has been a busy couple of years at Souls Harbor, and current and former residents and staff gathered with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate those improvements Friday.
“We’re all here today because over the last couple of years Souls Harbor has seen a ton of changes from programming to changes in the building,” said Dianna Gurley, executive director of Souls Harbor. “We’ve had a lot of growth, we’ve had a lot of growth in programs and a lot of growth in the house. We’ve updated and remodeled a lot of different things so we wanted to invite everyone in so they can see what goes on inside Souls Harbor.” ×
