The flavor of the week is rescheduled shows with a side of Grammy nominees, full-album performances, and farewell tours.
Here are the shows you shouldn't miss around the Twin Cities this week.
Boris
Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Fine Line
The Japanese noise metal trio's 2005 album Pink remains an inflection point for Boris. On its sludgey ninth album — likely their most accessible at the time of its release — they effortless swung from doom-laden, fuzz-drenched guitar to ambient to rock to shoegaze.
The band is on the road celebrating that record's 20th anniversary. Fans will get a heavy dose of Pink as well as other music from their deep catalog, which includes nearly 30 studio albums and more than two dozen EPs.
Down the street, the Omaha-born dance punk outfit The Faint will play First Ave
