Southern Minnesota got its first blast of winter this season as several inches of snow dropped on Saturday morning.

A system passed through the southwestern corner of Minnesota as it moved southeast through the Midwest, and left behind decent accumulation.

The National Weather Service snow totals shows the highest amount recorded was 4 inches in Wilmont, Nobles County.

It initially looked as though the system would make its way further into Minnesota, only for the track to shift south and west as the week went on.

There is still a chance of snow flurries on Sunday, but it is more likely to fall in western Wisconsin, according to the NWS Twin Cities. It'll be chilly though, with a high of 32 forecast for the metro area.
