Fairview literally goes the distance to win Class A

In a game with distict championship implications, Fairview and Cashion stood tied with under a minute to play Friday night.

Then suddenly, everything went dark.

A transformer blew behind the stadium, cutting all power to Maxon Field and plunging the game into total blackout. The lights, scoreboard and loud atmosphere disappeared in an instant.
