No more street clothes for Shedeur Sanders.
The rookie quarterback will return to his backup role behind starter Dillon Gabriel on Sunday against the Jets after being inactive due to a back injury during the Browns’ loss to the Patriots in Week 8, coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Friday.
After the Browns traded Joe Flacco in early October , Sanders was made the No. 2 signal caller on the depth chart.

Sanders still remains ahead of veteran Bailey Zappe, who was active when the fifth-round, No.144 overall pick was out in Week 8.
Cleveland is now returning from its bye week and hopes to get back into the win column.
