The Boone County grand jury has indicted a man from Poland in connection to two burglaries.

Seweryn Rapacinski, 63, is accused of breaking into two homes on Torrey Pines Drive in Columbia and stealing more than $100,000 worth of jewelry.

Rapacinski was indicted on two counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of stealing.

According to previous KOMU 8 reporting , the first burglary happened on July 10. Columbia Police Department officers found that over $100,000 in jewelry, $5,000 in cash and a pillow case had been stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Torrey Pines Drive.

On Sept. 23, officers responded to a burglary at another residence on the same block. A $12,000 silver dining set and a pillow case had been stolen, according to court documents. Mid-Missouri News
