CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Gamers, comic book fans, and movie buffs have been gathering in Cape Girardeau for the Cape Con for 20 years.
The event started in 2005 with a few comic book vendors in small event room and has grown to a three-day event big enough to fill the Show Me Center and attract stars from across the pop-culture spectrum.
The show features meet-and-greets with artists and creators, vendors, and cosplay with fans.
Danny Stewart has been involved with Cape Con since the beginning, “This year is just a celebration of what Cape Girardeau has been able to bring together and the support that we have felt from the community, and also a small idea that has become so huge and looked-forward-to every year.”
Cape Con continues on Sunday. For a full schedule of events, click h
