HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man has been arrested after police say he allegedly threatened two joggers with a machete in Kailua.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the incident occurred at about 11:05 a.m. along N. Kalaheo Avenue near Pueohala Place in Kailua.
Police said a man driving a white pickup truck reportedly yelled at the two joggers, turned his vehicle around, and drove back toward them while allegedly waving a machete out the window, and threatened to kill them.
Officers located the suspect, a 39-year-old man, and arrested him for terroristic threatening in the first degree.
No one was hurt.
