SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend second district common council member Ophelia Gooden Rodgers to host a neighborhood clean-up day on November 15 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
The cleanup is sponsored by Common Council member Ophelia Gooden Rodgers and Director of Engagement and Economic Empowerment Mary Macfee, in partnership with the Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The cleanup will cover three different areas in the second district.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the corner of Kaley Street and Linden Avenue. The cleanup will begin at the South Shore Station and cover Linden Avenue to Falcon Street and Falcon Street to Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
There will be no rain date or location; the neighborhood clean-up will take place, weather permitting only.
