LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A lucky guest at a Las Vegas Strip resort won more than $1 million on Friday, just days after another guest won $3.8 million at the same resort.
The guest, identified as Abraham Jimenez from Illinois, was playing Face Up Pai Gow at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, when he was dealt a seven-card straight flush.
Jimenez's $5 side bet triggered the resort's Pai Gow progressive for $1,501,338, according to a press release.
This jackpot came just days after another Venetian guest, who wished to remain anonymous, was playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em when they were dealt a spade royal flush, which activated the mega tier of the resort’s Millionaire Progressive.
That guest made a $5 side bet, making them eligible to win $3,845,727, the largest table games jackpot ever paid out
