In the comforts of home and with postseason hopes hanging in the balance, Louisiana football was ready to leave it all out on the field in Week 11 vs Texas State.
The Ragin’ Cajuns did just that, putting on a show for their home crowd as they handed the Bobcats their fifth loss in Sun Belt Conference, beating them 42-39. It was another Lunchtime special for the Cajuns’ offense with the dual threat quarterback Lunch Winfield leading them to the victory.
“We say we’re going to win some type of championship this year, so getting to a bowl game is big for is,” Winfield said. “So that’s the goal, and every week that’s what we got at the end the road. It’s that mentality of literally man on man. You've got to impose your will against him and show him who the real man is.”
