WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - HumanKind Ministries in Wichita said that it will open its Second Light Emergency Shelter early due to the blast of cold beginning tomorrow.

The shelter is located at 1025 N. Main St. in Wichita, where Park Elementary School used to be.

It will open at 8 p.m. on Sunday and stay open through Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. There will be an 11 p.m. curfew at the shelter. HumanKind says a first responder escort is recommended for anyone arriving after curfew.
