Mondays are a day off work for Kyle Arkansas and his wife Jenna of Sherwood.
So last Monday, after scrolling through news of the government shutdown and with nothing else planned for the day, the couple decided to fire up their Pit Boss pellet grill and feed anyone who was hungry, no questions asked. They spent about $200 at Walmart on hot dogs, buns, chips, water and soda, then set everything up in their driveway and placed a few signs around their neighborhood.
No one came.
Then Jenna posted about it on her Facebook page, which was quickly shared by the Our Town Sherwood Facebook page, and Kyle posted on his Instagram @kylearkansas.
