OpenAI predicts that by 2028, AI systems will make significant discoveries, enhance human productivity, and impact fields like healthcare, drug development, climate modeling, and education. The company stresses safety, alignment, and cautious deployment of superintelligent systems.

New Delhi: In 2026, AI can make very small discoveries but in 2028 and beyond, OpenAI is confident that “we will have systems that can make more significant discoveries”.
