LOS ANGELES -- The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame celebrated the class of 2025 at a music-filled induction ceremony on Saturday night.
Soundgarden was one of the bands celebrated during this year's induction ceremony. The honor comes more than eight years after the death of lead vocalist Chris Cornell.
"I was born and raised, still live in Seattle, so they're our heroes. Everybody from my city, we think that Soundgarden is just foundational and so important to rock and roll," said singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile.
Also inducted were longtime rockers Bad Company.
"What is the magic of Bad Company that now makes you members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?" Entertainment Guru George Pennacchio asked on the red carpet.
