Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) is continuing a variety of programs offering free meals to its students despite uncertainty around federal food assistance during the government shutdown.
Director of Food and Nutrition Services Taryn Kunkel-Lykins said on a typical day the district serves around 1,000 breakfasts, 2,900 lunches and 850 suppers, with the total including all district schools and both paid meals and those provided for free. +9
