Good morning! Lake effect snow began over the western Great Lakes yesterday and even brushed up against northern Door county earlier this morning.

While we may see some sunshine to start the day, plan on mostly cloudy to overcast skies. In terms of any snow, more lake effect snow is possible over northern Door county and into the U.P. where we could see some light accumulations. Otherwise, few flurries or a brief light snow shower is possible in those clouds today.

Highs will top out in the upper 20s and low to mid 30s today, our coldest weather since late March! Winds will be strong, gusting 30-35mph this afternoon which will put daytime wind chills in the 20s!
