OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) - The Ole Miss Rebels continued their winning ways on Saturday, dominating the Citadel in all three phases to secure their ninth win of the season, 49-0.
The Rebels offense and defense showed its best in this game, finishing with over 600 total yards of offense, while holding the Citadel to just 106 total yards of offense.
The Rebels started fast in this game, scoring touchdowns on their first two drives thanks two Kewan Lacy rushing scores to make it a 14-0 game in the first quarter.
The Rebels would turn the ball over on down on their third possession, but after that, they would score touchdowns on their next four possessions.
Ole Miss closed the first quarter with a quick three-play, 72-yard drive capped off by an 11-yard passing touchdown by Trinidad Chambliss
