India fast bowler Kranti Gaud’s World Cup heroics have helped her father Munna Singh Gaud rejoin police force, following his dismissal in 2012. Kranti was one of the key members of India’s successful campaign in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, having scalped nine wickets from eight matches. Following India’s historic triumph, Kranti was felicitated upon her return to home state Madhya Pradesh by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

During the felicitation programme held at the chief minister’s official residence in Bhopal, Kranti was honoured in front of her parents and coach. During the ceremony, CM Mohan Yadav also assured to resolve issues related to Kranti’s father, Munna Singh Gaud’s job in the police department.
