NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – There are delays at LaGuardia and Newark Airports due to air traffic control staffing on Sunday, according to the FAA.

Newark travelers are expected to see, on average, two-hour delays until midnight, according to the FAA. LaGuardia travelers are seeing 30-minute delays, on average.

The government shutdown stretched into its 40th day on Sunday, disrupting flights nationwide.
