LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A house caught fire in east Louisville early Sunday, according to Anchorage Middletown Fire and EMS.

Around 3 a.m., AMFEMS was dispatched to reports of a house on fire in the 17000 block of Seven Green Lane.

When they got there, crews found a two-story house with fire coming out of the roof.

Crews started to fight the fire from outside before making entry to put out the fire. It took 22 firefighters nearly an hour to get it under control.

No one was home during the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The fire caused extensive damage to the home, displacing one, but nearby houses were unharmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
