A kindergarten teacher has copped backlash for wearing an “inappropriate” costume for her work with children.

Sara James took to TikTok in October to reveal she dressed as the Marvel character Black Widow for “Superhero Day” at a preschool.

The teacher with flaming red locks channelled the heroine played by actress Scarlett Johnahsen in the 2021 action film.

Sara’s costume consisted of a head-to-toe black spandex body suit, which she paired with black boots and a matching belt.

She showed off her outfit in a video of herself dancing to Iggy Azalea’s Black Widow as she tightened the straps of her bodysuit in the classroom, which garnered more than one millions views and one hundred thousand comments.

“It’s superhero day, of course I chose black widow,” the teacher wrote in the caption.
