The U.S. Department of Agriculture demanded Sunday that states reverse full SNAP benefits that were issued under recent court orders.
Some states began sending out full SNAP benefits and are now waiting to be reimbursed with federal funds, which were frozen by the Supreme Court Friday.
Meanwhile, state governments are saying their operations could soon be affected because of the deficit.
