LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A north Lincoln fire destroyed a house, causing $650,000 in damage Saturday night.

According to LFR, a garage fire was reported near North 14th Street and Humphrey Avenue at 11:04 p.m.

LFR said firefighters initially thought they had the fire under control, but later found that it had spread into the attic space.

LFR said the house was a total loss, with over $650,000 in damage: $400,000 to the structure and $250,000 to the content.

No injuries were reported, but a family was displaced.
