SHARON, Pa. - Pastor Tiffany Holden has been leading her congregation at Redeemed Sanctuary since 2015. During this time she has also made it her mission to make sure no child in Shenango and Mahoning Valley go without a gift on Christmas day.
Her "Santa in the City" event has become a holiday tradition, starting from very humble beginnings.
In its first year, the event attracted only about 100 attendees. Starting with a budget of $1,000 in 2015, it has since grown to serve over 1,200 children and their parents.
The event provides toys, clothing, and other favorite gifts to place under the Christmas tree.
