The Rome Free Academy field hockey team, for the second year in a row, has had its season ended by Section I’s Mamaroneck.

Last year, the Black Knights were shut out by the Tigers in the Class A state semifinal round. This year, RFA suffered a 2-0 defeat in Sunday’s state regional final.
