Middletown, Indian River and Brandywine earned the top seeds when the three DIAA Football Tournament brackets were released Nov. 9.
The Cavaliers (7-3) are the defending champions in Class 3A. They will open the postseason at home against eighth-seeded St. Georges at 7 p.m. Nov. 14.
The Indians were promoted to Class 2A after winning the Class 1A championship last season, and Indian River has made a seamless transition with a 10-0 record. IR will take a 19-game winning streak into its playoff opener, at home against eighth-seeded Odessa at 7 p.m. Nov. 14.
