An urban sauna is set to open up in a Leith park at the end of the month.

Puffin Sauna, a converted horse trailer turned wood-fired sauna, will soon park up on Leith Links , giving locals a perfect opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Located within Leith Community Croft – home of the charity Earth in Common – the sauna will sit next to the urban croft’s food-growing plots, Sunday market, Populus Cafe and regular community events.

The sauna is due to open on Saturday, November 29 and will host sessions for groups of two to six people.

And those who are brave enough will also have the opportunity to take part in the full contrast therapy experience with two cold plunge tubs also available on site.

The sauna is for everyone, experienced sauna-goer or not!
