AMES – The Iowa State women’s basketball team’s opening week of the season didn’t offer many tough tasks for a Cyclones team that's expected to do some huge things this season.
So, as expected, the Cyclones not only took care of business with their non-conference foes, but did it with relative ease.
The 17th-ranked Cyclones ended their first week of the season with a lopsided 99-34 win over Sacred Heart at Hilton Coliseum on Nov. 9.
Iowa State, which dominated St. Thomas in its season opener and quickly dispatched of Southern just two days later, improved to 3-0 on the young season.
Audi Crooks, who connected on her first shots of the game, finished off the latest victory with 21 points and four rebounds in the victory over Sacred Heart. Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY
