ATLANTA — Hundreds more flights appear to have been canceled Sunday at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a day after a similar waive of cancellations that have begun with the FAA saying it would institute service cuts at the nation's busiest airports amid the ongoing government shutdown.

Data from FlightAware around 3 p.m. showed 391 cancellations, most of them Delta flights (326) as is usual in Atlanta, where Delta operates its hub.

"Flight cancellations and delays are increasing nationwide as the aviation system manages ongoing operational impacts," a statement issued Sunday by Hartsfield-Jackson said.
