Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart did not return to Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears because of a what the team termed a possible concussion.
The Giants wound up losing the game, 24-20, to drop to 2-7 on the season.
Dart was slow to get up toward the end of the third quarter after he was hit by Bears safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson , leading to a fumble that the Bears recovered.
After being evaluated in the blue medical tent, Dart was taken to the locker room. At the time, Fox Sports sideline reporter Pam Oliver stated he was being evaluated for a concussion. Backup quarterback Russell Wilson came in and led the Giants on a drive that ended with a Younghoe Koo 19-yard field goal.
