Three former Winn-Dixie grocery stores in the Birmingham-metro area opened this week under the Food City banner.
In October, Winn-Dixie announced plans to sell-off all their stores in the state of Alabama by the end of 2025. As a result, locations in Trussville, Fultondale and Jasper closed and transitioned into Food City stores this month.
Below are the new Food City locations that opened on Thursday, November 6th: • Jasper, at 2405 U.S. 78 East • Trussville, at 465 Main St. • Fultondale at 1721 U.S. 31 North
