TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Scattered showers and storms will exit the region Sunday night, and cold air rushes in to start the work week.
Tonight Through Monday Night
A few showers are possible for Sunday evening, but we are turning drier and more clear for the overnight. The wind will also increase. We could see winds up to 10-15 mph at times. Lows settle in the low-to-mid-40s.
A dry, sunny and windy day is ahead to start the work week. Temperatures on Monday only top out in the low-to-mid-50s. The wind could gust up to 25+ mph at times. Because of the dry air and the breezy wind, we are expecting an elevated fire risk. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for most of the Big Bend from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m.
