SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Tonight : The nice weather that we’ve had this weekend will soon change as a cold front approaches SWFL… isolated showers and storms have already originated over the Gulf and started to make their way on land. A 40% chance of rain is forecast tonight.
The Cold Snap : In the wake of the front, be prepared for cold temperatures and windy conditions. This will be the most noticeable Monday and Tuesday. High temperatures will only be in the near 60 degrees… low temperatures will be in the upper 30s and low 40s! Winds will be up to 20 mph out of the north on Monday... gusts are able to reach up to 30-35mph. Our wind speeds will still be breezy on Tuesday, sustained at 15-20 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph.
