EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Kevin Stefanski wasn't going to make the change before the bye week. One game after the bye week wasn't going to change the Browns coach's mind about Dillon Gabriel as his starting quarterback.

"Yeah, we're going to stick with Dillon," Stefanski said after the Browns' 27-20 loss at the New York Jets . "Obviously, this is a young player that you're always trying to get one game better and those type of things, but we have to play better as an offense, we have to coach better, all the above."

Gabriel's fifth career start went much like his first four starts did before Cleveland's week off. The completion percentage was right around 50% — 17-of-31 for 53.1% — while he was, once again, under 200 passing yards with 167 yards against the Jets. Buy Cleveland Brow
